The sheepskin is from Iceland and is organic. The organic tanning makes the leather very soft, as well as environment friendly, chemical free and baby safe. Children who lay on sheepskin as babies develops allergies and asthma in lower extent than children who did not, have recent studies shown. Read more about this under Sheepskin Care.
The wool is medium length (40-50 mm.), making it soft to sit or lye on, but easy to keep clean and dust free. A perfect gift to a baby, the size isn't too big so fits well in strollers etc., super soft, hygienic and without any nasty chemicals.
The slippers are in size UK 2-3 /EU 18-19 that are a bit large on a newborn, but can still be worn due to the velcro closing. This size can be worn until the baby is approx. 9-12 months.
